Known for her incredible work ethic and dedication, Sue has fostered an environment where safety, learning, and fun are always top priorities while upholding SafeSplash Swim School policies and procedures. She treats both families and staff like family, creating a welcoming culture built on trust, respect, and teamwork. Elite Instructor
Erin brings energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching every lesson, creating a fun and engaging environment where swimmers can thrive. She began swimming at age 8 and started teaching at 16, building a lifelong dedication to this sport. A four-time state breaststroke finalist, varsity collegiate swimmer, and collegiate swim coach, Erin has worked with athletes of all levels, from beginners to Division I competitors.
Her extensive experience includes coaching over 300 adult swimmers, USA Swimming athletes, and Ironman competitors. As an open water specialist, Erin has led open water training programs, served as a personal trainer and swim specialist, and coached a competitive swimming team while teaching at SafeSplash. Erin is committed to helping every swimmer build confidence, improve their skills, and reach their personal goals in and out of the water.

Product Specialist
Justine serves as our Product Specialist, leading and coaching instructional teams while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and Swim instruction. She is dedicated to teaching swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum standards and stroke progression, helping swimmers build confidence and achieve success at every level.
Justine plays a key role in training new instructors, mentoring team members both in and out of the water and providing ongoing coaching and constructive feedback. With a positive, patient, and high-energy approach, she works closely with staff, children, and families to create engaging lessons that are safe, fun, and effective. Through her commitment to quality and excellence, Justine helps maintain a supportive learning environment where every swimmer can thrive.

Malachi is a Lead Instructor who is currently studying at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). He brings enthusiasm, positivity, and a passion for teaching every lesson, providing engaging Swim instruction for students of all ages, from infants as young as 4 months old to adults.
In his leadership role, Malachi supports and trains new instructors, reinforces teaching standards, and provides constructive feedback to both students and team members. He is committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and encouraging learning environment while closely monitoring swimmer progress and promoting confidence in the water. Known for his positive attitude, patience, and dedication, Malachi helps ensure every swimmer has a safe, enjoyable, and successful experience.

Michelle is a dedicated Swim Instructor known for her kind, patient, and engaging teaching style. A favorite among many of our families, she has a special ability to help children feel comfortable, confident, and excited about learning in the water.
Michelle teaches swimming skills and water safety in accordance with the SafeSplash® Swim School curriculum, working with students of all ages and ability levels. She focuses on building strong foundations through progressive lessons that develop water confidence, breath control, floating, kicking, and stroke technique. Known for creating a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment, Michelle is passionate about helping every swimmer develop skills, achieve milestones, and build a lifelong love of the water.

Veronica is currently studying at Central Connecticut State University and was a member of the CCSU Division I Swim Team, specializing in butterfly and breaststroke. Her competitive swimming background, combined with her passion for teaching, allows her to help swimmers of all ages and abilities develop strong skills and confidence in the water.
Known for her patient, kind, and encouraging nature, Veronica is a favorite among students and families. She is comfortable teaching all levels, from beginners learning water survival skills and basic strokes to more advanced swimmers refining their technique. With a focus on safety, skill development, and building confidence, Veronica creates a positive learning environment where every swimmer feels supported and empowered to succeed.
Julia C
Swim Instructor
Julia is a senior at Wethersfield High School and a dedicated student-athlete. As a member of the school's Swim & Dive team, she helped contribute to the 2025 State Championship title. Beyond the pool, Julia is an accomplished musician with 11 years of formal piano instruction and is an active member of both the High School Choraliers and Jazz Band. She is also the founder and president of the school's Women in STEM Club, where she inspires and supports young women pursuing interests in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Julia enjoys sharing her love of swimming with younger athletes and helping swimmers build confidence, skills, and a lifelong appreciation for the water.

Swim Instructor
Ariana is a student who consistently earns Honor Roll recognition while demonstrating a strong commitment to serving her community. She has volunteered in a variety of roles, including assisting rehabilitation residents, supporting dog adoption efforts, and helping lead Vacation Bible School programs. Through these experiences, Ariana has worked closely with children, helping them navigate social challenges, build confidence, and engage in fun and meaningful activities. She is known for her warm personality, kindness, and positive attitude. Arianna is passionate about working with kids and is dedicated to helping each child feel encouraged, confident, and successful.

Brian is a student at Hall High School who combines leadership, teamwork, and dedication in both academic and extracurricular activities. He is a member of the Varsity Rowing Team through Riverfront Recapture Rowing, where he has developed discipline, perseverance, and a strong commitment to team success. Brian also serves as Captain of Hall High School's VEX Robotics Team, leading his peers in problem-solving, innovation, and technical excellence. He is known for his attention to detail and strong work ethic, Brian is a dependable and responsible individual who thrives in dynamic and challenging environments. His ability to remain calm, focused, and reliable under changing conditions makes him a valued leader and teammate.

Aaden is a student at Berlin High School who is passionate about helping others and creating positive experiences for children. As a certified Lifeguard with CPR and First Aid certifications, he is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment where young swimmers can learn, grow, and build confidence. He is highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. Aaden approaches every challenge with a problem-solving mindset and dedication to continuous improvement. He enjoys learning new skills, working with others, and finding ways to help individuals succeed. His strong communication skills, positive attitude, and genuine enthusiasm for working with children make him a trusted mentor and role model. Aaden takes pride in helping each child feel safe, encouraged, and confident as they develop both in and out of the water.

Assistant Manager
Elena serves as Assistant Manager and brings a strong combination of leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills to the team. She is a graduate of Goodwin University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Management and was recognized on the President's List for three semesters in acknowledgment of her academic excellence.
With experience in project management, staff supervision, conflict resolution, and problem-solving, Elena is skilled at fostering a positive and productive environment for both team members and families. She is highly organized, technologically savvy, and known for her ability to listen attentively and communicate effectively. Her dedication to supporting others, resolving challenges, and continuously improving processes makes her an invaluable member of the team. Olivia is a college graduate who earned her bachelor’s degree in criminology with a Minor in Sociology, graduating with honors. Her professional background includes experience in Victim Services and Victim Advocacy, where she developed strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for supporting others.
One of our most versatile team members, Olivia serves as a Deck Supervisor, assists at the Front Desk, and teaches swim lessons throughout the week. Due to frequent requests from parents, she remains a sought-after instructor who consistently builds strong connections with both children and families.
Olivia's warm personality, leadership, and commitment to creating a welcoming environment have made her a favorite among our families. The smiles, hugs, and excitement she receives from her students are a true reflection of the positive impact she has on the children and families she works with every day.

Swim Instructor/Front Desk
Ximena is a senior at Wethersfield High School who brings leadership, energy, and a passion for working with young people. Bilingual in both English and Spanish, she enjoys connecting with families and supporting children in a positive and encouraging environment. Ximena has experience in childcare and officiating youth sports, helping children build skills, confidence, and teamwork.
A dedicated student-athlete, Ximena is a Varsity Lacrosse player and Captain of a Connecticut Flag Football team, experiences that have strengthened her leadership, communication, and time management abilities. She also serves as a Connecticut football referee, demonstrating fairness, responsibility, and strong decision-making skills. Ximena is committed to creating a safe, supportive atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and achieve their goals while having fun.

Wyatt is an honor student at RHAM High School who is passionate about helping young athletes learn, grow, and succeed. He has extensive experience working with children as a Little League umpire, youth baseball and hockey coach, and camp counselor. Through these roles, Wyatt has developed strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
Dedicated to creating positive experiences for every child, Wyatt focuses on building confidence, encouraging good sportsmanship, and helping young athletes develop both their skills and character. His patient, supportive approach and love of working with kids make him a valued role model and an excellent addition to our team.

Kimar is currently attending the University of Connecticut, where he is pursuing his goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. Mia is currently a student at Central Connecticut State University and serves as a Deck Supervisor, helping ensure a safe, organized, and positive experience for swimmers, families, and staff. She oversees daily pool deck operations, manages class flow and transitions, and supports instructors in delivering high-quality swim lessons.
Known for her patience, and strong communication skills, Mia is passionate about working with children and helping them succeed in the water. She mentors and assists instructors, provides progress updates to families, and helps maintain a welcoming environment where safety and learning come first. With her dedication to customer service, attention to detail, and commitment to swimmer success, Mia is a valued member of the team who helps make every visit a positive experience.
Josh
Lifeguard/Deck Supervisor
Josh is currently a student at Central Connecticut State University and serves as a Lifeguard at SafeSplash, where he is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all swimmers and guests. He maintains constant supervision of the pool and deck area, providing a safe environment for students, families, and staff.
Trained in emergency response, first aid, CPR, and AED procedures, Josh is prepared to respond quickly and effectively when needed. He also helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility while supporting the overall success of daily operations. Known for his attentiveness, responsibility, and commitment to safety, Josh plays an important role in creating a positive and secure experience for everyone who visits the Swim school.

Swim Instructor
Eric is a student at Notre Dame High School who brings energy, leadership, and enthusiasm to everything he does. He serves as Secretary of the Black Student Union and Sophomore Class President, while also competing as a member of the Varsity Football Team and managing the Varsity Basketball Team.
Beyond athletics and student leadership, Eric has showcased his talents on stage through both lead and supporting roles in his school's theater productions. He is also a consistent honors student who takes pride in his academic achievements.
At SafeSplash, Eric is known for his positive attitude, patience, and ability to connect with swimmers of all ages. He loves helping children build confidence in the water while making lessons fun and engaging. His upbeat personality and encouraging teaching style have made him a favorite among many of our families.
Emerson
Lifeguard/Swim Instructor
Emerson brings a strong swimming background, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping young swimmers succeed. She has been a competitive swimmer since the age of six, developing the discipline, focus, and dedication that come from years of training and competition. Her extensive experience in and around the water allows her to confidently teach swimming skills while creating a safe and encouraging environment for her students.
Currently a student at Miss Porter's School in Farmington, Connecticut, Emerson balances her academic responsibilities with her role as a lifeguard. Through both swimming and lifeguarding, she has developed a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and leadership.
Emerson enjoys working with children and takes pride in helping them build confidence, improve their skills, and have fun in the water. Her patient, supportive teaching style and enthusiasm for swimming make her a valued member of the SafeSplash team.
